About Us

Hi, we're Yunnan Tea Hub — tea producers based in Yunnan, with a team spread across the world. We work at the intersection of Chinese tea tradition and a more experimental, contemporary way of making it.

 We've been in this industry for over 10 years now, working closely with farmers, technologists and distributors across Yunnan. Every tea you find on our website is made by us, and we control the entire process: we pick and choose the leaves, work alongside experienced tea masters on production, try out different techniques and combinations, and keep only what we actually find interesting.

 Along the way, we've come to know the true artists among tea masters: people who compose flavor the way a musician composes sound. It's the rare kind of tea masters who can take leaves, years of experience and a strong intuition, and turn it into something we haven't tasted before.

 We take the same approach with how the tea and the ware looks. We work with artists and designers on packaging that actually fits what's inside, and something that we'd want to keep on the most visible shelf in our own homes.
